Fawn Mckay

Fawn Brodie McKay born September 15, 1915 was a native of Ogden Utah. She was a member of the Mormon Church's original family Fawn McKay devoted her brilliant writing talents as well as her remarkable researching skills in the creation of an outstanding psycho-historical biographical biography of Joseph Smith, published in 1945 under the title The Only Man Knows My History. This title is taken from the funeral sermon given by Joseph Smith, founding father of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. He shocked his audience by saying: "You don't even know my name. There is no way to know my heart." My history is not known to anyone. There is no way for me to share it with you. The 29-year-old wrote Fawn at the time: Ever since that moment of candor at least three-score writers have jumped on the challenge. There are some who have attempted to establish a medical diagnosis. The documents aren't insufficient, but they are contradictory. It is a daunting task to put together the documents, of separating firsthand accounts from third-party plagiarism and integrating Mormon and non-Mormon narratives to create a picture that is credible historical claims. It is both interesting and instructive. Fawn brodie was highly committed to this task. The fruits of her research as well as her writing earned her worldwide fame. Thaddeus Stevens. The DevilDrives.
