Nicky Whelan

Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980 in Australia is an actress and model. The actress gained prominence in Australia due to her portrayal of Pepper Steiger, which she was in over 100 episodes on the soap opera Australian Neighbors between 2006 between 2006 and 2007. Her first project that she worked on in Hollywood was the choral-comedy Hollywood & Wine, where she played an actress who is newly arrived in Hollywood. She was then offered a part in the 9th season of Scrubs in the role of Maya the very hot medical student. The show was abruptly cut off. Then, she went on to film a Farrelly brothers-produced comedy named Good to Shoot. It was starred by Jason Sudeikis and Owen Wilson. Thereafter the actress appeared in short series films, as well as B-Series movies. In 2013, she landed some more roles that were viewed as more prominent in six episodes of the series detective Franklin and Bash and her first permanent role in Chosen alongside Milo Ventimiglia. She is in the initial two seasons of the series also giving the reply to Chad Michael Murray. Then, she appeared in two more feature films with an airplane setting. She plays a flight attendant. Matador is a TV series that she created together in collaboration with Gabriel Luna.
